What is Design Drafting?Design Drafting is a National drafting design competition sponsored at the local level by NAWIC chapters and other organizations.
The competition provides recognition to students for creative design, successful problem solving and craftsmanship in preparing architectural drawings and renderings. The drawings may be created utilizing any computer aided design (CAD) program available to the contestants, drawn by hand or may consist of a combination of computer aided and hand drawn drawings. 2018-2019 Problem to Solve:The 2018-2019 problem is to design a "High Speed Study Zone". Contestants are asked to create a safe space for students to go to in the evening that will allow them access to a high-speed internet connection following specific criteria and guidelines.
